A Christmas to Remember

Fuzzy sweaters in Denmark or colourful board shorts in Australia, Christmas is a major highlight of the year. And at the same time, it’s the perfect moment to reflect on the past year and all of its highs (and lows), too. So think about your highlights and remember to share them with your loved ones and hear about theirs this Christmas.
While you’re reflecting, why not reignite some old traditions you might have missed? Perhaps your family decorates a Christmas tree together or maybe even takes a drive to cut one down yourselves. Maybe you like to sing carols together by the fire or go for an early morning swim. Possibly you have a go-to holiday film you watch every year only to be interrupted by the little ones asking to write their letters to Santa. My family paints Christmas tree ornaments to give to friends and relatives and our extended family plays a game of baseball before our big meal together. What family or friend traditions do you cherish? Be sure to capture all these special moments by documenting with photos, videos, and precious words.
As you embrace the comfortable familiarity of old traditions, don’t forget that this season, this year, this day is always the best time to create new memories and traditions. Sometimes pieces of our childhood can be re-introduced to forge new traditions we can call our own. Or instead, maybe we try something new we’ve always wanted to but were too afraid to attempt. Perhaps you want to try a new cheesecake recipe or the viral 15-hour roasted potatoes. Maybe something more sentimental like a themed game night or volunteering at a local shelter for those who also want to build traditions with their community.
The magic of Christmas, a Christmas to remember, is all about creating new joy while appreciating past joys. We can always share the cheer - there will always be enough to go around! The youngest will cherish these familiar and new moments together which add to your holiday stories and family legacy. Ultimately, A Christmas to Remember is determined by a spirit of connection and generosity. It will always be more important to share time, love, and experiences together than it is to have a bounty of impeccably wrapped gifts. So, this is the time to soak up all the hot cocoa (or lemonade!), breathe in the fresh air of the season, and pay attention to all the people you care about.
Think about Christmas last year - what made it special or different? Do you remember? Timelapse allows you to save and continue those moments. We know each Christmas is special, so by using Timelapse you will be able to always come back and reflect on what made 2025 (and onward) special. There are so many moments you will want to capture and remember: a delicious dessert, the most amazing or silly gift, singing your favourite Christmas songs, the grandkids opening gifts, and more.
With the end of the year around the corner, start a new tradition, lend a helping hand, remind your friend they’re welcome at your table and don’t forget to record it with Timelapse. From our team to your family, may your holidays be filled with all the love, adventure, and wonder you wish for and deserve.
